Silversprings Guest House in Alta, Wyoming, is located on an original homesteading location in  Alta, Wyoming, with beautiful golden willows for shade in the summer, perfect for outdoor picnics or family/friend gatherings.  We are an hour away from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and a beautiful ninety minute drive from Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Driggs, Idaho is the nearest town, six miles from Alta, and this is the closest town to buy groceries, go out for lunch, or launch your fishing boat on one of the many public accesses to the Teton River, one of the "hidden gems' of the west.  Fly fishing on the Teton River, forty minutes from the South Fork of the Snake, and forty minutes to the Henry's Fork!  Mountain bike riding, hiking, and, of course, with winter here at last, we are looking forward to another fantastic year of powder skiing!  Last year, Grand Targhee, just twenty mintues from the house, boasted 500 inches of snow, snow from heaven, not hoses!

Silversprings was the name of the original homestead, and the original farm house has been completely remodeled and added onto over the years, so that it is currently a 3,900 sq. ft. house, with an adjoining 900 sq.ft. guest cabin. The house has four bedrooms, and three bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps ten people.  Amenities include a wood fireplace, wood stove, hot tub with Teton Views, entertainment center in family room, piano, library, sledding hill!
